"Having grown up in a family business, I gained a deep understanding of the complex intertwining of corporate structures, ownership and family relationships early on. Business was discussed on a daily basis. In an ever-changing business world, trust is often nothing more than an empty phrase, something our family unfortunately had to experience first-hand on more than one occasion.
I decided to make a virtue out of these negative experiences by setting up a foundation that would act as a protective shield and strengthen the unity of our family. We developed a foundation charter that was not only tailored to the needs of our family but also specifically to the needs of future generations. This approach aroused the interest of other entrepreneurial families who were looking for similar stability.
This gave rise to the idea of a "guardian" – an independent and trustworthy body that aligns the family with a common mission statement, monitors the foundation's activities and affairs, and at the same time keeps track of current developments. This marked the birth of MiroZon.
